Victor DeMasi, in Butterflies in Your Backyard

Victor is a well-known lepidopterist from Redding, Connecticut. He and his wife have traveled all over the world capturing butterflies which are mounted into a museum collection.

Victor tell the audience how you can attract butterflies to your backyard thru natural plantings and the natural environment you establish. He discusses the variety of butterflies in Connecticut and how to rear or breed butterflies. Victor is involved in a Mark Release Capture Program where he marks the butterflies he captures and releases them for study. Many books, magazines, and organizations are presented as further resources.
